Programme · Boksburg area · Launching after September 2026 school holidays
Growing Together
A parent-and-child programme for children aged 12 months to 4 years.
Growing Together is more than a playgroup. It is a space where young children explore, move and play in a developmentally informed environment, and where parents build real tools for navigating the early years.
The programme is planned to launch in the Boksburg area after the September 2026 school holidays. No commitment and no payment required at this stage. Register your interest below and you will be the first to receive full details.
More than a playgroup
Most playgroups are for the children. Growing Together is for both of you.
Young children between 12 months and 4 years are in one of the most significant developmental seasons of their lives. Their brains are building fast. Their emotions arrive before their words do. Their behaviour is shaped by what they can and cannot yet manage.
Parents in this season are often running on less than they expected. The hard moments repeat. The same patterns show up. And most of the advice out there focuses on what to say to the child, not on what is happening in the adult.
Growing Together holds both. A rich, calm environment for your child to explore and develop. And a grounded, practical space for you to understand what is shaping the moments at home.
How it differs from a playgroup
A playgroup
Children play while parents chat. The focus is social connection.
Growing Together
Children play in a developmentally informed environment while parents build real understanding of what is shaping the moment. The session is for both of you.
The session is structured around the Little Resilience Co. approach: looking at the whole picture behind behaviour, not just the surface.
What young children experience
For children aged 12 months to 4 years, the programme offers:
Sensory-rich, age-appropriate play that supports development
Movement, exploration and creative expression in a calm, structured environment
Opportunities to practise early social skills alongside other young children
Consistent, predictable rhythms that help little bodies feel safe
A space where big feelings are expected and met with steadiness
What parents gain
Alongside your child’s session, you will:
A clearer understanding of what is happening developmentally for your child right now
Practical tools for the hard moments that keep repeating at home
A body-first approach to staying steady when things get loud
Time to connect with other parents navigating the same season
A framework for understanding behaviour that goes beyond scripts and strategies
Location and timing
